Refund Policy

1. Free Trial First

Every account gets 15 free practice questions per service before you're asked to pay anything. Please use your free questions to confirm the platform works for you and suits your needs before purchasing full access. This is the main reason our refund window is limited.

2. What You're Paying For

A paid purchase unlocks 3 months of unlimited practice for the service you selected, subject to the subscription terms displayed at the time of purchase. This includes access to the service question bank, random practice questions, timed exams, instant scoring and answer reviews.

Because this is instant-access digital content, and because you've already had the opportunity to try the service for free, purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been granted, except in the situations below.

3. When You Are Entitled to a Refund

• Duplicate payment — you were charged twice for the same service due to a technical error.
• Payment debited but access not granted — Paystack or Flutterwave confirms a successful charge, but your account was never upgraded because of a callback, verification or technical failure on our end.
• Service not delivered as described — a genuine fault on our side prevents you from using the paid service and we are unable to resolve the problem within a reasonable time.

In these cases, contact us within 7 days of the payment. We will investigate the transaction and, where the claim is approved, refund the eligible amount or fix the access issue.

4. When You're Not Entitled to a Refund

• You changed your mind after already using paid practice questions or exams.
• You did not pass your examination. cbtprep.com.ng provides preparation tools and does not guarantee examination outcomes.
• You purchased the wrong service by mistake. Please confirm the examination service before completing payment, as services are activated separately.
• Your subscription period expired after the applicable subscription period.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email support@cbtprep.com.ng or contact us on WhatsApp at +234 706 873 7174.

Please include your registered email address, the examination service you paid for, the date of payment and your payment reference. Your payment reference can normally be found on your Profile page under Payment History.

We aim to respond to refund requests within 48 hours.

6. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are issued through the original payment method via Paystack or Flutterwave, whichever payment channel was used for the transaction. Once a refund has been processed, the time it takes to reflect in your account may depend on the payment gateway and your bank.

7. Chargebacks

If you have a payment issue, please contact us directly first. We will investigate genuine payment problems and work to resolve them as quickly as possible.

Filing a card chargeback without first contacting cbtprep.com.ng may result in your account being temporarily restricted while the transaction and dispute are investigated.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page together with an updated "Last updated" date.
