1. About cbtprep.com.ng

cbtprep.com.ng is an online examination-preparation platform providing computer-based practice and related learning tools for examination and employment preparation services, including JAMB/UTME, Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, Nigerian Air Force, TRCN, Banking, Oil & Gas and other services made available on the platform.

cbtprep.com.ng is a preparation platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we are not the examination body, employer, university, recruitment agency or official examination authority for any examination or recruitment service listed on the platform.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activities carried out through your account.

You must not create an account using another person's identity, provide false information, attempt to bypass account restrictions or allow another person to misuse your account.

3. Email Verification

We may require you to verify your email address before accessing certain account features. You are responsible for providing an email address that you can access.

If you do not complete a required verification process, some services or account functions may remain unavailable until verification is completed.

4. Free Practice

cbtprep.com.ng may provide a limited free trial for eligible services. The current free-trial allowance is displayed by the platform and may be changed from time to time.

Free practice is provided to allow users to evaluate the platform before purchasing premium access. Free-trial availability may be limited to one trial per user and service and may be restricted where we detect abuse, duplicate accounts or attempts to circumvent the trial limits.

5. Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions provide access to the examination service selected at the time of purchase for the subscription period and features displayed on the pricing or payment page.

Unless a different period is clearly displayed at checkout, the current cbtprep.com.ng premium service period is 3 months from successful activation.

Premium practice may provide randomised questions, timed practice, scoring, answer review and access to the relevant question bank. The exact number and configuration of questions in an individual practice session may vary according to the service and platform configuration.

6. Prices and Payments

Prices are displayed on the cbtprep.com.ng pricing page and may change from time to time. The price shown at the time you submit a payment is the applicable price for that transaction, subject to correction of obvious errors.

Payments may be processed through Paystack, Flutterwave or another payment provider made available by cbtprep.com.ng. A payment is not treated as successfully completed until the transaction has been appropriately verified by our system or the applicable payment provider.

You must not attempt to manipulate payment references, callbacks, transaction responses or subscription records.

7. Refunds

Digital access may be delivered immediately after payment. Our refund rules are set out separately in the Refund Policy.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or limit any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Nigerian law.

8. Examination Results and No Guarantee

cbtprep.com.ng provides practice materials and preparation tools. We do not guarantee that a particular question will appear in an official examination, that your score on cbtprep.com.ng will match an official examination score, or that use of the platform will result in admission, employment, recruitment or professional qualification.

Official examination dates, eligibility requirements, syllabuses, recruitment requirements and examination procedures may change. Users should confirm official information directly with the relevant authority.

9. Question Bank and Content

cbtprep.com.ng may contain questions, explanations, educational material, graphics, logos and other content owned by or licensed to cbtprep.com.ng or its respective owners.

You may use the content for your personal examination preparation. You must not copy, reproduce, resell, redistribute, publish, scrape, commercially exploit or create a competing question bank from cbtprep.com.ng content without written permission.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, database or another user's account;
• circumvent free-trial, subscription or access controls;
• interfere with the operation or security of cbtprep.com.ng;
• use automated tools to scrape, harvest or reproduce platform content;
• upload malicious code or content;
• reverse engineer or attempt to compromise payment, authentication or security systems;
• sell, share or transfer your account or paid access where such transfer is not expressly permitted; or
• use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or restrict an account where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, payment abuse, unauthorised access, security abuse, violation of these Terms or other conduct that may harm the platform, users or third parties.

Where appropriate, we may provide an opportunity to resolve the issue before permanent termination. Suspension or termination does not remove any rights or obligations that by their nature should continue after termination.

12. Platform Availability

We aim to keep cbtprep.com.ng available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, hosting problems, network failures, payment-provider outages, security incidents or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and correct material technical problems affecting paid services.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

cbtprep.com.ng may integrate with or link to third-party services, including payment providers, email services and external websites. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their independent operation or content.

14. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the cbtprep.com.ng name, website design, software, original text, graphics, interfaces and platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws and remain the property of their respective owners.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of cbtprep.com.ng intellectual property to you.

15. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. By using cbtprep.com.ng, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review that policy.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, cbtprep.com.ng will not be responsible for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including failures of internet service providers, banks, payment gateways, third-party services, devices or external examination systems.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful or would remove a consumer protection that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when our services, pricing, technology or legal requirements change. Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of cbtprep.com.ng after an update means that you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws applicable in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply to a user.
